As Membership Chair, said person will provide leadership to DWSC’s non profit as it transitions from a newly formed 501(c)(3) organization into a sustainable entity recognized by the state of Colorado. Specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain and grow membership to Denver Women’s Sports Collective through enrollment and retention initiatives decided upon by the Board
- Engaging with Events Chair to create specific enrollment initiatives at each networking and professional development event
- Taking accurate attendance records of those who attended events, and deciding appropriate action for members who violate the strike policy
- Keeping accurate records of paid, past, and potential members contact information and annual dues payment records
- Communicating with members about annual membership dues and reaching out to potential members to answer any membership-related questions/concerns
- Attend bi-weekly DWSC Board meetings (virtually) and attend a majority of networking events organized by DWSC
BOARD TERMS
- The DWSC Secretary will serve an 14-month term to be eligible for re-appointment one month before termination of that term. Board meetings will be held

As Secretary, said person will provide leadership to DWSC’s non profit as it transitions from a newly formed 501(c)(3) organization into a sustainable entity recognized by the state of Colorado.. Specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for maintaining the minutes of each board meeting and is the custodian of all corporate research and documents. These documents include, but are not limited to, the organizations article of incorporation, bylaws and board member services agreements, as well as financial records.
- The Secretary is responsible for serving all notices of the Corporation, including notice of elections and ballots.
- Secretary will enforce policies regarding access to these confidential files and maintaining them in a Cloud file or Google Drive in the Membership email account.
- Secretary will be the point of contact for all internal communication including meeting dates/times, agenda items, announcements, deadlines and other information to fellow board members.
- In the absence or disability of the Marketing and Branding chair, the Secretary will take over their duties.
- Manage all DWSC related logins and points of contact to major areas of interest (i.e. event spaces, 501c3 filing contacts, etc).
BOARD TERMS
- The DWSC Secretary will serve an 12 month term to be eligible for re-appointment one month before termination of that term. Board meetings will be held monthly and committee meetings will be held as determined by chair needs and evaluation.
- A board member can run for re-appointment as many times as they see, with the understanding that someone can oust them upon reelection.
